We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pastoral Interventions Practitioner to join our innovative special school in Swindon. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with social, communication, and interaction difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and record pastoral interventions to support student well-being
  • Provide early help and safeguarding support to identified students
  • Ensure adequate staff supervision for lunchtime clubs and activities
  • Support classes and raise student attendance as needed
  • Train staff in strategies for emotional regulation and social interaction
  • Assist in analyzing pastoral data to identify support needs
  • Maintain accurate records related to behavior, safeguarding, and pastoral support
  • Promote clear communication between wings, pastoral team, and mental health first aiders
About You
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with students in educational or care settings
  • Motivated, punctual, and professional with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to train and develop skills in the Thrive approach as a licensed practitioner
  • Openness to taking on further responsibilities and fostering a supportive environment
