Job Description

**About the Role**

We are partnering with a leading FMCG business to find a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at MacGregor Black. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the delivery of the Engineering department's vision and strategic plan.
  • Maintain production Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to hit site Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets.
  • Identify and action opportunities for improvements within the engineering environment.
  • Adhere to and support factory-wide systems for the adherence to company policies and statutory regulations for health, safety, and environment.
  • Work in partnership with relevant parties to aid in the planning and support of all capital engineering projects.

Requirements

  • FMCG experience is essential.
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent is essential.
  • Knowledge of both electrical and mechanical is preferred.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), and Continuous Improvement is desirable.
