The Lead Horticulturist is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and upkeep of gardens and landscaped spaces. This position entails ensuring that the gardens are visually appealing, robust, and flourishing. The Lead Horticulturist supervises a team of horticulturists, guarantees adherence to proper horticultural techniques, and manages resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated experience in guiding or mentoring a team within a grounds maintenance or landscaping context.
- Financial acumen regarding staffing levels, overtime, tools and equipment, company assets, and waste management.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
- A dependable individual with a proactive mindset.
- Possession of a full UK Driving License.
