As a Regional Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents across multiple sites within a region.
You will be responsible for delivering personalized care and assistance with activities of daily living, promoting a sense of compassion and advocating for the rights and preferences of our residents.
Collaborating with our nursing and wellbeing teams, you will ensure holistic and person-centred care, making a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
Main Responsibilities- Assist qualified staff with care plans, tasks, and activities to support the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of residents.
- Participate in activities, motivating and supporting residents to get involved.
- Assist residents with eating, drinking, washing, dressing, and going to the toilet.
- Assess and observe the emotional and physical wellbeing of residents, recognizing changes and reporting as necessary in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records, communicating effectively with residents and their families.
- Provide care in a safe environment through participation in learning and development programmes.
- A good standard of written and oral English.
- The Right to Work in the UK.
- Be NISCC registered or eligible to register.
- Must be able to travel: driving licence and access to vehicle required.
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in health and social care.
