About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Software Developer to join our team at ghd. As a Junior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development and growth of our commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside our existing third-party delivery agency to build in-house experience and capability to develop and grow the commerce platform.
  • Implement technical stories and support the optimization of existing functionality.
  • Resolve production issues and implement solution design to third-party services and platforms.
  • Optimize e-commerce systems for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work with the global technical delivery manager to ensure quality deliverables in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Industry experience with customer journey, promotions, and checkout concepts.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Java platform, including collections, concurrency, and analysis skills.
  • Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of unit and integration testing, as well as developer daily basis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
