We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee a caseload of insurance reinstatement projects for a successful SME building contractor in the North East region. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing medium to high value repairs projects from inception to completion, with a strong background in residential property building/refurbishments and direct trades/sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and programme residential refurbishments following insurance claims
  • Manage spend and profit budgets on each project
  • Monitor all KPIs and SLAs
  • Allocate and schedule resource (direct trades and sub-contractors)
  • Manage and monitor variations to the contract, ensuring delays are minimised and profitability is achieved
  • Deal with any issues arising and manage any complaints
  • Ensure Health & Safety regulations are met

Requirements:

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in managing direct trades/sub-contractors, with a strong background in residential property building/refurbishments. Some experience in the use of Symbility (or similar) is ideal but not essential. A full UK driving licence is required (car or allowance provided).

Package Details:

In addition to the Contracts Manager salary (£43k-45k), you will receive a car or allowance, paid holiday, pension, and profit share.
