We are seeking a skilled Lead PHP Engineer to become part of our innovative engineering team at With Intelligence. Our mission is to enhance our product offerings through advanced data technologies, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, creating a seamless, event-driven ecosystem. We aim to present our proprietary data in the most effective manner.

This role presents an exciting chance to apply your extensive development expertise while integrating the latest technologies to excel in the data-centric product arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and sustain backend services utilizing PHP and associated frameworks
  • Work in tandem with frontend developers to merge user-facing components with server-side logic
  • Engage in the complete software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment
  • Produce clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best coding practices
  • Enhance application performance and ensure scalability of backend systems
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality
  • Convert requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with product managers and designers
  • Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in PHP development

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a PHP Developer capacity
  • Strong command of PHP and frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
  • Familiarity with NodeJS and Typescript is a plus
  • Experience with ElasticSearch is advantageous
  • Solid understanding of database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git
  • Acquainted with Agile methodologies and development processes
  • Ability to produce clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging capabilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and keeping up with industry developments
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services is beneficial
