Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customers with exceptional levels of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Deal with customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing the best possible outcome.
  • Ensure the personal appearance of sales team members is in line with company guidelines, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Have a thorough understanding of our customer service measuring program, ensuring that all team members are aware of and adhere to the standards.

Sales and Visual Merchandising:

  • Ensure that sales targets are achieved and, where possible, exceeded, through effective visual merchandising and sales floor management.
  • Monitor staff service levels to maximize store sales, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.
  • Utilize in-store devices to offer customers the full product range, ensuring that they are aware of all available options.
  • Use sales reports to inform product placement decisions, ensuring that key selling lines are prominently displayed.

Visual Merchandising and Store Standards:

  • Attract and engage customers through the use of creative visual techniques, including window and in-store displays.
  • Provide assistance with the maintenance of store standards, ensuring that the sales floor is clean and presentable at all times.

Training and Development:

  • Encourage personal progression within the store, providing opportunities for staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Provide assistance with the induction and training of new starters, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their role effectively.
  • Assist with the development of existing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their role to the highest standard.

Requirements:

  • Previous retail management experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
