Job Description

Role Overview:

AESC UK is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning HVAC Manager to lead the commissioning of clean room production facilities. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of HVAC systems in accordance with the project's requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive commissioning plans for HVAC systems, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and up-to-date.
  • Systemisation and Documentation: Systemise project commodities, processes, and identify system boundaries for each HVAC system. Update drawings, systemisation, check sheets as changes are updated through revisions, tag changes, and RFI's.
  • Punch List Management: Request closure of punch items from Construction and 3rd Party Contractors. Ensure all punch listed items are completed and closed out.
  • Handover and Documentation: Ensure handover documentation is completed and provided to Manufacturing, Operations, and Facilities.
  • Construction Monitoring: Monitor construction activities to ensure readiness for commissioning.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with 3rd party contractors for upcoming walk-downs and completion of punch items prior to scheduled walk-downs. Coordinate handover walk-downs between all stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify with QA team the quality of contractors' pre-commissioning activities.
  • Design Review: Support design reviews in their discipline and perform engineering design review of HVAC dry systems for high-technology facilities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collect, coordinate, and structure clean and dry room design requirements from factory users, amongst all teams and engineering disciplines.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of experience working for global leading companies in supervising and managing the construction of large industrial projects ($100m+ capex).
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Engineering for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes. 3+ years working experience in clean room production. Very good knowledge in HVAC systems with focus on clean room technology. Knowledge of ISO14644.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English, and presentation skills are a must. Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organisation with challenging timelines, budget, and goals. Be capable of working in a close, multi-faceted team environment. Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring new ideas and willingness to continuously learn. Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution.
