Job Summary

We are working with a leading Vehicle Safety Supplies company to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated auto electrician to join their team of Field Service Engineers. This is a remote role that requires covering the Midlands and London areas, with the main base located in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to customers by fitting or servicing safety products on large vehicles, either at the customer's site or at the manufacturer's site.
  • Install and maintain various safety products, including DVR and camera systems, DVS standards, FORS (Bronze, Silver, Gold) compliance, beacons and lights, alarms and sensors.
Requirements
  • Electrical automotive background with experience in field service engineering or auto electrician roles.
  • Availability to work some weekends at an overtime rate.
  • Possibility of nights away from home.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Previous experience in plant or HGV maintenance.
  • Full driving license with the ability to drive a van provided by the company.

  • Remote role with stock dropped to local self-storage for collection on a weekly basis.
