Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to become a valued member of our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee store operations every Sunday, ensuring a well-organized and inviting atmosphere for shoppers.
- Manage the presentation of donated items, taking pride in maintaining a clean and accessible shopping space.
- Assist with sales transactions and stock management, including rotation and display organization.
- Represent Age UK with professionalism, embodying our core values in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures.
- Capability to lift and transport stock bags weighing up to 10kg.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and equal opportunity principles.
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.
