Sales Representative

At Brogan Safety Supplies, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Main Responsibilities:- Generate sales reports and submit them to management on a regular basis.
- Utilize all available resources to reach out to prospects and attempt to turn those prospects into customers.
- Develop profitable incremental sales to new and existing accounts.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand the company's marketing presence in the territory.
- Support the inside sales team to foster excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and account profitability.
- Ensure in-depth and current knowledge of customers, as well as strengths and weaknesses of competitors.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers and vendor representatives.
- Develop solutions to address customer issues.
- Provide accurate market intelligence to the Business Centre Manager and other members of the sales team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various product lines.
- Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
- Professional and courteous demeanor.
- Safety product knowledge would be an asset.
- Fire product knowledge would be an asset.
- Patience and ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail.
- Must have a flair for selling and building relationships with individuals and organizations.
- Computer experience an asset.
