Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Operations Coordinator to join our team at Enva. As a key member of our transport team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily transport activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driver Support: Provide daily debriefing to drivers, including those on night shifts, to ensure accurate information regarding collections.
  • Paperwork Management: Verify driver paperwork for accuracy and completeness, ensuring signatures are correct.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Enter driver non-collection reports and record daily.
  • Tank Telemetry Monitoring: Regularly monitor the tank telemetry system and notify transport planners of any issues requiring action.
  • Customer Order Management: Collaborate with the Customer Experience department to review customer orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Transport Scheduling: Monitor and adjust the 'short frequency schedule' daily to prevent missed collections, including moving jobs as needed.
  • Transport Administration: Assist transport planners with general administrative tasks.

Requirements:

  • Geographical Knowledge: Good understanding of mainland UK geography.
  • Planning Experience: Experience with automated routing TMS software, such as Paragon or Optrak.
  • Customer Service: Proven customer service experience and ability to meet customer expectations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of Operator Licence obligations and regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Experience in producing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reports.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong telephone manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and solution-focused ability.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective working relationships.
  • Flexibility: Flexible attitude to the team's work, with a willingness to reprioritize tasks as needed.
  • Technical Skills: Strong PC and technical knowledge, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience working in the waste industry or logistics operations is highly desirable, but relevant experience in other industries will be considered.
