As our next DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operational integrity of mission-critical services within a secure National Security environment. You'll collaborate closely with customers to ensure the seamless delivery of software rollouts that contribute to national safety.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance within a DevOps environment.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Gitlab.
  • Deploy and maintain applications utilizing containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Helm, or Docker.
  • Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible or Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions using languages such as Python, Javascript (React/Vue desirable), Java, or Spring Boot.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure continuous service availability.

You will be responsible for identifying potential issues early on and ensuring the ongoing operational stability of services vital to national security. Additionally, you will lead a DevOps team, fostering best practices and promoting a culture of excellence.

Clearances:

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible to achieve DV clearance. This requires British citizenship and residency in the UK for the past 10 years.
