Teaching Personnel SEN Tutor Job

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver English, Maths, and Science lessons to students between the ages of 5-11 on a 1:1 basis.
  • Work in various locations across the Derbyshire area, including community centres, libraries, schools, and care homes.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, prepare resources, and assess student progress.
  • Complete weekly tutor reports to track student progress.
  • Work with students who may have challenging behaviour and require additional support.

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering work across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum is desirable.
  • Ability to work with students who may have SEN and challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
