About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CT & MRI Patient Care Specialist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our CT and MRI services by providing exceptional patient care and support.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with radiographers to deliver high-quality patient care throughout their examination process.
- Provide comfort and reassurance to patients, guiding them through each step of the procedure.
- Assist with patient preparation, including cannulation (training provided if necessary).
- Contribute to a safe and efficient environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for patient care, coupled with strong organizational and teamwork abilities. You will have a proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment and be committed to providing compassionate and personalized support.
Essential Requirements
- General Education to GCSE level
- Basic keyboard/typing experience
- Previous experience working with the public
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and undertake cannulation training (if not already proficient)
