Reed is currently supporting a fast-growing business in the Reading area who are looking for an Accountant to join their team. This firm specializes in offering services to clients across various industries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Take ownership of a portfolio of clients, producing monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables, and maintaining the client relationship.
    • Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely, including responses to client queries, and coordinating with other team members to provide a response where necessary.
    • Prepare monthly/quarterly client management accounts, comprising processing of purchase and sales invoices, recording bank transactions, preparing and posting general ledger journal entries, and maintaining schedules supporting and reconciling balance sheet items.
    • Prepare required tax returns for filing with HMRC, including VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax, and P11ds.
    • Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with FRS102 or IFRS, including consolidated and LLP financial statements.
    • Liaise with clients and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
    • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverables.
