We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Accountant to join our innovative and tech-driven team at ProTalent. As a Senior Cloud Accountant, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on cloud accounting solutions, and implementing and managing cloud-based financial systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, advising on cloud accounting system Xero.
- Implement and optimize cloud accounting software for clients, including training and ongoing support.
- Prepare management accounts, VAT returns, and financial reports using cloud-based software.
- Provide clients with real-time financial insights and advice to support business decision-making.
- Conduct regular reviews of clients' accounting processes and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and filing deadlines.
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients to cloud-based platforms.
- Support junior team members in the use of cloud accounting software and ensure high-quality output.
- Keep up to date with developments in cloud technology and accounting regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service for clients.
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualified (or QBE) with strong cloud accounting experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with cloud accounting platform Xero.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and provide high-quality service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and support clients in the use of cloud software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
- Ability to provide real-time financial insights and business advice using cloud data.
- A passion for technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in managing junior staff and reviewing their work is an advantage.
