**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our dynamic team at Class People, a leading provider of Special Educational Needs (SEN) services. As an English Autism Teacher - SEN Specialist, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with Autism and other SEN.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with Autism and other SEN.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for students with SEN, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEN, promoting a love for learning.
**Requirements:**
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEN experience.
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
- Familiarity with the latest SEN legislation and best practices.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
