We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Stellar Select Limited. As a Second Charge Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in assessing mortgage applications and ensuring that all aspects of our underwriting criteria are met.
Key Responsibilities- Enter and update borrower data on our lending platform.
- Ensure accurate recording of loan details on our CRM and adherence to underwriting guidelines.
- Assess mortgage applications to guarantee compliance with our underwriting criteria.
- Verify that all underwriting is in line with Company policy and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all cases are underwritten within our group's risk appetite.
- Utilize experience in mortgage broking, packaging, or lending to underwrite residential or second charge applications.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in underwriting or packaging residential or second charge applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
