We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Frontier Agriculture Limited. As a Laboratory Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our grain samples.
Key Responsibilities- Test and record grain samples to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards
- Operate the weighbridge and sampling equipment to assist the site team
- Assist with the training of temporary staff during harvest season
- Support the Assistant Lab Manager in training and supervising harvest temporary staff
- Complete and record relevant tests throughout the year
- Comply with all quality assurance requirements
- Ensure testing of intake and dispatch samples of grain is completed
- Maintain a high standard of working environment
- Complete all relevant procedures and checks in a timely manner
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle telephone calls proficiently with a professional and helpful telephone manner
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Proven attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, managing own workload and time, while developing effective relationships with colleagues
- Effective team player with a flexible approach to work, including additional hours at peak season
- Polite, friendly, and professional demeanor with a solution-focused approach
