Plant Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview: 2020 Recruitment is collaborating with a leading Biomass Facility in Fife to recruit a Plant Maintenance Supervisor to enhance their operational team.

Key Responsibilities:

This is a pivotal management position, requiring the successful candidate to possess essential managerial expertise and robust leadership capabilities.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid NEBOSH Certificate or an equivalent qualification, demonstrate proficiency in CMMS, and possess a comprehensive understanding of technical and operational aspects of the plant.

Reporting directly to the Station Manager, the Plant Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for achieving the strategic goals of the facility.

The responsibilities include:

• Overseeing both short-term and long-term maintenance strategies for the facility.
• Leading a diverse team of skilled technicians, offering guidance and support.
• Implementing the latest advancements in plant condition monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Managing the maintenance budget in alignment with the facility's business objectives.
• Coordinating the procurement of necessary goods and services.
• Planning and managing all maintenance outages, including contractor coordination.
• Supporting the execution of the management system.
• Assisting the Financial Controller in detailing and communicating maintenance expenditures.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Plant Maintenance Supervisor position, candidates should possess the following:

• Demonstrated management experience.
• Strong mechanical expertise.
• Completion of a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
