About the Role

Screwfix is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing a warm and welcoming experience, and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Store Operations - You will assist with maintaining a high level of store standards, including receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Team Collaboration - You will work closely with the store team to achieve sales targets, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a positive and productive store atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Excellent Communication Skills - You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Positive Attitude - You will have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets.
  • Flexibility - You will be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of the business.
