Candidate Profile: The ideal applicant will possess a robust electrical background, holding relevant qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, along with the 18th Edition certification as a minimum requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of tests, inspections, and maintenance tasks in commercial settings.
  • Assist fellow technicians with both major and minor maintenance projects.
  • Complete all scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks within designated timeframes, ensuring all documentation is accurately filled out.
  • Prioritize and execute minor repairs and maintenance work efficiently.
  • Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks are readily available and in good working condition.
  • While primarily assigned to a specific area for PPM, you may be required to attend other sites within the cluster as needed.
  • Collaborate with company and client personnel to uphold established quality standards.
  • Represent the organization professionally at all times, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Accurately monitor and update the Mercury system, ensuring real-time job updates from yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent recognized apprenticeship.
  • 18th Edition certification.

Compensation Package:

  • Basic Salary ranging from £35,360 to £37,440, based on experience.
  • Paid travel time from door to door.
  • Overtime rates available.
  • Call-out duty on a 1 in 6/7 basis, with a £100 retainer in addition to salary.
  • 23 days of annual leave, increasing to 26 with tenure, plus 8 public holidays.
  • Company vehicle for work and personal use, along with a fuel card.
