Job Summary

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will provide critical support to the QA Manager in ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufacturing processes. This role will be responsible for providing first-line supervision and direction to the team, working collaboratively with other QA Coordinators to coordinate team tasks, and ensuring that team objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership
    • Provide first-line supervision and direction to the team.
    • Work collaboratively with other QA Coordinators to support coordination of team tasks.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that team objectives are achieved and monitor progress.
    • Suggest execution of the work plan and implement improvements.
    • Support the batch release process within QA.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Ensure awareness of the batch release plan and targeted resolution of quality issues for batches.
    • Progress deviations, change controls, CAPA, and other elements of the quality systems accordingly.
  • Culture and Environment
    • Promote a Safety, Quality, and cGMP culture in the team and across the site.
    • Ensure appropriate standards of cGMP, housekeeping, Health, Safety, and Environment are applied.
  • Development and Improvement
    • Support team development through feedback and encourage optimal performance.
    • Ensure mandatory training is in place and monitor the training status of the team.
    • Manage organisational change and process improvements as applicable.
  • Delegation and Escalation
    • Deputise for the manager as required.
    • Escalate any areas of risk, including both product and personnel issues.
Requirements

Education

Graduate level in a relevant discipline or suitable alternative or equivalent experience within the industry.

Experience

Experience of Quality Assurance systems, procedures, and industry practices.

QA experience is desirable.
