Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Bury Council. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pupils and parents by promoting our aims, values, and ways of working in your everyday practice.

About the Role:
  • Support the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to small groups of children
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Help promote the values of our Trust and the opportunities that working within a Trust offers
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Support the development of children's skills and knowledge in a creative and engaging way
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with small groups of children
  • Excellent skills in communication, behaviour management, and nurturing
  • Commitment, flexibility, and enthusiasm
  • High aspirations for all children and young people
  • Desire for career development through Continuing Professional Development
