About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to join our team at Service Care Solutions - Social Work. As a key member of our Corporate Parenting Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and delivery of our business support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of business support staff, providing oversight and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality administrative support to our practitioners.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee and streamline business processes across our Corporate Parenting Service area, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and aligned with our service goals.
  • Data Management: Provide detailed data reports, conduct data analysis, and resolve data queries to support informed decision-making within our service.
  • Project Management: Manage and deliver key projects within our service area, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to a high standard.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure robust financial processes are in place, with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures to support budget management and financial reporting.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure effective collaboration across teams.
Key Competencies
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of line management experience, preferably within a Local Authority or large organisation, with a track record of delivering high-quality business support.
  • Data Skills: Strong ability to provide data reports, perform data analysis, and resolve data-related queries efficiently.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Financial Experience: A strong understanding of financial systems and processes, with the ability to oversee budget management and financial reporting.
