Financial Services Audit Role

BDO UK is seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Services Audit professional to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Services Audit team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality audits to our clients in the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage audit teams to deliver high-quality audits to clients in the financial services sector.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to ensure effective risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to audit teams on financial services audit matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practice.
Requirements
  • ACA/ICAS qualified or overseas equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Experience of auditing within the financial services sector, including asset management, corporate wealth, capital markets, banking and alternative finance.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resourcing and managing remote teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
