The School of Engineering at the University of Greenwich is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering to join our leadership team. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in chemical engineering, with a focus on developing and leading innovative programmes that integrate core skills with modern technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead high-quality programmes in chemical engineering, incorporating core skills and modern technologies.
  • Contribute to the development, delivery, and assessment of materials in subjects such as biochemical engineering, chemical engineering product design, and chemical processing methods.
  • Play a key role in the development and delivery of research programmes, with a focus on interdisciplinary engineering research.
  • Teach and assess students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and success.
Requirements
  • PhD in a relevant subject, with a strong research profile and potential to develop internationally recognised research programmes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students.
  • Experience in teaching and research in chemical engineering, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches.
  • Familiarity with the UK higher education system and external accreditation processes.
