Quality Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at Vickerstock. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manage the Document Control process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Lead the ISO9001 Internal Audit program to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement Procedures, Work Instructions, and other associated documentation
  • Manage Product Quality testing to ensure compliance with specifications and drive continuous improvement
  • Manage Process Auditing requirements to ensure compliance with specifications and drive continuous improvement
  • Collect and analyze data for trending information, presentation to management, and assessment for improvement opportunities
  • Manage non-conformances from problem identification to resolution using quality tools
  • Lead the implementation and coordination of containment and corrective actions
  • Support the implementation of the 6S program and other Lean initiatives
  • Develop close working relationships across all departments and communicate quality performance across all levels within the company
  • Provide quality-related training and leadership in relation to the QMS
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Engineering or a related field
  • Root Cause Analysis and process improvement skills
  • Ability to work to and adhere strictly to technical specifications and drawings
