Job Title: Senior Civil/Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Civil Engineer to join our team at Matchtech. As a Lead Design Engineer for bridges and ancillary civil structure projects, you will be responsible for coordinating with other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical guidance, support, and training to colleagues
  • Involved in projects from conception to completion, including project checking and approval arrangements
  • Reviewing completed projects and recommending improvements to technical policies and design solutions
  • Supporting the Project Manager in clarifying project briefs and agreeing deliverables

Requirements:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering
  • Experience using structural design and analysis software such as STRAP, Autodesk Bridge Design, LUSAS or similar
  • Strong project governance experience and a successful record of project delivery
  • Fluent communication skills and the ability to produce clear reports in English
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence
