Job Title: Theatre Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Theatre Technician to join our team at the Royal Spa Centre. As a Theatre Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the Technical and Facilities Manager and the Technical Supervisor in delivering all technical requirements across our three venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of all technical requirements across our three venues
  • Work with the Technical and Facilities Manager and the Technical Supervisor to ensure smooth event execution
  • Provide technical expertise on shows and events
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety laws and best practice requirements
  • Support the team in maintaining the department's assets and equipment

Requirements:

  • At least 1-year practical experience of the rigging, operations, and programming of theatrical lighting equipment and programming of live performance sound equipment (including digital)
  • Qualification in a theatre discipline or equivalent experience
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
