Warehouse Administrator Job Description

Quest Employment is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to support their client's fast-growing business. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for planning delivery routes, assisting with daily delivery operations, and providing exceptional customer service at the trade counter.

About the Role

This is a dynamic role that involves working in the warehouse, assisting at the trade counter, and helping the team of drivers. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning delivery routes for multidrop runs within a 50-mile radius using Maxoptra
  • Assisting in overseeing daily delivery operations
  • Serving customers at the trade counter and managing order pickups
  • Dispatching goods via courier service and checking in supplies
  • Liaising with internal and external sales teams to meet customer deadlines
  • Organizing warehouse space efficiently and helping with emergency driver cover when needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A can-do attitude and team-player mentality
  • Excellent people skills and a proactive approach to customer service
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivation and initiative in completing tasks
  • A valid UK driving license and basic computer skills
  • An interest in welding or engineering would be a bonus
