Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to drive our growth by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be instrumental in converting prospects into long-term customers and expanding our market presence across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence.
- Create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral to effectively communicate the value of our innovative ingredients.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the food manufacturing, retail, and distribution sectors.
- Represent Fermtech at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and establish the brand in the market.
- Collaborate with the product development team to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with product capabilities and customer needs.
- Provide regular reports on commercial performance, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achievement of sales targets.
- Develop commercial and financial models for the sales and future sales of the business.
- Proven experience in a sales or commercial role, with a successful track record of developing and executing sales strategies.
- Experience in the food technology, protein, or flavour ingredients sectors is highly beneficial.
- Strong ability to create and develop sales & marketing materials and collateral from the ground up.
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, primarily within the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
- Good numeracy, ability with numbers, and ability to build financial models.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
