Senior Wastewater Modeller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Wastewater Modeller to join our team of experts in the water industry. As a key member of our Water Consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions for our clients in the UK water industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and support to project teams, ensuring the delivery of complex wastewater catchment strategies and solutions.
- Hydraulic Modelling: Develop and implement hydraulic models to analyze and optimize wastewater systems, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Catchment Planning: Lead the development of catchment plans, including optioneering and cost-benefit analysis studies, to ensure the effective management of wastewater infrastructure.
- Project Management: Manage small to large projects, including workload planning, prioritization, and quality assurance, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Team Leadership: Line manage project team members, providing technical direction, support, and guidance to ensure the success of projects.
- Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, contributing to the development of best practices and industry standards.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate Qualifications: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as civil engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software, such as InfoWorks ICM, and relevant GIS systems, including MapInfo, ArcGIS, and QGIS.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing project teams and delivering complex projects.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the water industry, including regulations, standards, and best practices.
