We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with autism and learning disabilities in their daily life.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks, nutrition, and mobility. You will also be required to promote the individual's independence and well-being, while ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks, nutrition, and mobility.
- Promote the individual's independence and well-being, while ensuring their safety and dignity at all times.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the individual, based on trust, respect, and empathy.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the individual receives comprehensive care and support.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Enhanced DBS check required.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.50, with enhanced rates on Bank Holidays. You will also have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team, and receive comprehensive training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
