Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to represent Mekhann in our retail store on Bond Street. As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our store, including retail sales, customer service, and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mekhann's product offerings, including the history, techniques, and cultural significance of our textiles.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Mekhann at trade shows, events, and in-store, embodying the brand's values and ensuring a consistent brand message.
  • Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends to assist in strategic planning and product development.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and product offerings.
Shop Operations
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of our Mayfair retail store.
  • Ensure that store displays are meticulously curated and presented to the highest standards.
  • Process online orders, including packaging and shipping.
  • Actively seek and engage new trade and retail clients.
  • Assist with product shoots to showcase our collections.
  • Support the creation and distribution of newsletters using our CRM system.
Requirements
  • A self-motivated, ambitious individual with a strong drive to excel.
  • A genuine passion for sales and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the luxury goods or interiors industry for at least 2-3 years.
  • Confident in handling customer inquiries, both in person and via phone and email.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities for business growth.
