Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Contract Officer to join our team at the Wales Medicines Strategy Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for managing dental contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of dental contracts, ensuring compliance with national policy and local governance processes.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and contractors, to support the delivery of dental services.
  • Produce reports and analysis to inform decision-making and track performance.
  • Support the commissioning of projects and procurement of services to deliver agreed benefits.
  • Highlight exceptions and risks, ensuring mitigating action is taken to maintain high-quality services.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level qualification.
  • Significant experience of working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commissioning and healthcare services.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
