Location: Within a 1.5-hour commute from major urban centers
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 based on experience
Hours: 50-hour work week with overtime compensation after 11 hours per day and on weekends

Our project management team oversees the installation of Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems from inception to completion, prioritizing health and safety with certified professionals. We manage various installations across the UK.

Position Summary:

We are in search of a Field Service Engineer. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the commissioning phase of finalized installations, ensuring that systems adhere to performance benchmarks in accordance with HSG 258 standards.

Key Duties:

The Field Service Engineer will:
- Validate mechanical and electrical performance.
- Assess technical performance metrics.
- Verify control system effectiveness.
- Generate documentation including reports, manuals, and logs.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Electrical qualifications along with a valid CSCS card (training can be provided).
- Familiarity with Trend, Siemens, and Schneider systems.
- BOHS W501 qualification is advantageous.
- 18th edition certification is preferred.

Work Environment:

This role is primarily remote, with necessary tools, a laptop, and a mobile phone provided.
- The Field Service Engineer will travel within a 1.5-hour radius.
- Overtime is compensated at 1.5 times the standard rate, with double pay on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
- The interview process is flexible, including both phone and in-person interviews.
