Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team within Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) CAMHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic interventions for children and young people presenting with mental health difficulties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct highly specialist psychological assessments of clients with complex conditions, utilizing a range of data sources and evidence-based practices.
  • Recognize and report potential signs of client harm, abuse, or neglect, and take all reasonable steps to protect the client.
  • Undertake risk assessments and provide specialist advice on psychological aspects of risk management.
  • Develop and implement highly specialist psychological therapy plans, negotiating with clients and their carers as required.
  • Implement a range of highly skilled psychological therapies for individual clients, carers, families, and groups.
  • Evaluate therapy options and make decisions about treatment plans.

Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
  • Continued professional development through structured self-study, specialist clinical supervision, and/or relevant short courses.
