Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential Legionella risks in water systems
- Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent Legionella outbreaks
- Collaborate with our Quality Control/Assurance team to ensure delivery of related documentation to regulatory standards
- Compile accurate schematic diagrams of domestic water systems
- Monitor risks and stay up-to-date with UK Health & Safety regulatory legislation and practice
- Proven experience in the Water Hygiene Industry and/or conducting Risk Assessments
- Strong understanding of ACoP L8, HSG274 part 2, BS and other relevant industry standards and guidance
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong IT skills, particularly within Apple applications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Disclosure and Barring Service clearance (Enhanced DBS check)

For over 23 years, SMS Environmental has been a leading water hygiene service provider throughout the UK, ensuring the public are protected from infectious diseases that can be carried through water systems.
