About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Bridgwater College Academy- Polden. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing an exceptional dining experience for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and snacks for the site
  • Provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
  • Work collaboratively with the catering team to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and restaurant area
  • Operate the till and handle customer transactions

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44
  • A 25-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm
  • 39 weeks of paid work per year, including term time and inset days
