About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Cat C1 7.5t Driver to join our team at City Plumbing Supplies. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of yourself and your vehicle at all times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any incidents or issues to your line manager promptly.
  • Compliance: Comply with all relevant transport compliance laws and regulations.
  • Sales Support: Assist the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager in achieving and exceeding sales targets at optimum margins.
  • Customer Service: Provide a first-class service to our customers, ensuring we maintain high standards and create a loyal customer base.
  • Branch Support: Assist with general duties within the branch, including serving customers on the trade counter, telesales, and maintaining housekeeping standards.
Requirements
  • A clean Cat C1 (7.5t) driving licence.
  • Previous driving experience.
  • Knowledge of the products associated with our industry would be an advantage.
