Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

Barnardo's is seeking a skilled Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team in Fife. As a key member of our service, you will provide therapeutic support to children, young people, and their families, as well as capacity building for parents and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry a caseload and provide ongoing therapeutic support to children, young people, and their families.
  • Deliver capacity building sessions for parents and professionals to support the emotional and mental health needs of children and young people.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and young people's mental health and wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans and strategies to improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people in Fife.
About the Role:

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until March 2026. You will be working as part of a dynamic team to provide high-quality support to children, young people, and their families.
