About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and creative Content Strategist to join our brand marketing team at TalkTalk. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand's tone of voice and messaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and own the tone of voice and brand messaging for TalkTalk
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and consistent content across all channels
  3. Interpret and respond to creative briefs, ensuring a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements
  4. Define, plan, and execute a BAU content strategy based on regular estate audits
  5. Own the positioning and messaging for TalkTalk's portfolio of products, ensuring effective implementation across all necessary channels
  6. Test content using in-house researchers to ensure the right content is shown in the right place in the best format
  7. Support the SEO team with copy and content requirements
  8. Support the web and UX/UI teams with copy and content requirements
  9. Support all business units with any copy requirements, including internal communications

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in writing content, preferably in a tech environment
  2. Experience working with UX designers, researchers, and product owners to deliver content that is consistent, engaging, and accessible
  3. Proficient in SEO copywriting
  4. Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  5. Proactive approach to content management
  6. Keen eye for detail and accuracy
  7. Proven experience of agile working, comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  8. Excellent stakeholder management

Desirable:

  1. Proficient in updating content within a CMS
  2. Telecoms experience
