About the Role

Hunts Community Cancer Network is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Operations Team as a Fundraising Assistant. This is a varied role that will support the smooth running of our fundraising events, manage fundraising volunteers, and maintain our equipment and resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and volunteer management
  • Manage and maintain our fundraising equipment and resources, ensuring they are in good working order
  • Provide administrative support to the Operations Team, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with stakeholders
  • Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising strategies and campaigns

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
