We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and install mechanical and electrical components of machines
- Wiring and electrical connections to control panels, basic pneumatics, and hose making
- General workshop duties, including drilling, tapping, and use of hand tools, grinding, drill press, and lathe
- Disassemble, clean, and refurbish old machines, pumps, and valves
- Commission and test machines, fault finding, train customers, and demonstrate machines
- Background in workshop or service engineering
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills
We offer a flexible work environment, with the option to work in our workshop or on-site at client locations. Our standard working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. We also offer flexible start and finish times, with overtime paid at time and a half, and double time on Sundays.
As a Maintenance Engineer with Stafforce Recruitment, you will have access to a company car, phone, laptop, iPad, company credit card, and fuel card. If you are a Service Engineer, you will also have the opportunity to work on-site at client locations, with regular travel and training opportunities.
