The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards, timelines, and cost targets, acting as a central point for cost control and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Outage Management Processes: Collaborate with the client to develop and implement processes for outage management, ensuring alignment with SHE standards, productivity targets, and cost control measures.
- Ensure Compliance and Performance: Conduct regular audits, site visits, and KPI reviews to ensure compliance and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage and Communicate Performance: Manage and communicate performance against agreed KPIs throughout the outage, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Lead Planning and Execution Activities: Lead and facilitate all planning and execution activities in line with the outage gated process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Provide Competence Assessments: Conduct competence assessments and performance reviews of contract companies, suppliers, and individuals, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Proven Experience in Complex Outage Management: Proven ability to manage complex outages or projects in high-pressure environments, particularly on COMAH sites.
- Influencing Stakeholders: Strong capability to influence third-party stakeholders to improve safety and quality standards.
- SHEQ Expertise: Expertise in implementing and monitoring SHEQ systems, ensuring zero harm and high-quality results.
- Analytical Thinking and Decision-Making: Analytical thinking and effective decision-making, able to resolve complex issues and drive positive outcomes.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate teams and external suppliers effectively.
