Job Summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client's installation team. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for completing installations and commissioning of large-scale industrial wastewater and clean water treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission industrial-size pumps and related mechanical equipment
  • Work on-site across the UK, with all expenses for stay-aways paid
  • Collaborate with the installation team to ensure successful project completion
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical background, particularly within heavy-duty mechanical installations
  • Experience within the water industry highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS & Water Hygiene card desirable, but will be provided upon start if not already owned

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary range £35,100 - £39,800, negotiable depending on experience
  • 45 hour working week (Monday - Friday)
  • Company van
  • Travel paid to/from sites
  • 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • No on call/standby requirements
