Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Octopus Energy Services. As a key member of our distribution centre team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient running of our warehouse and transport operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Warehouse and Transport operations teams to achieve exceptional service levels to our customers
- Work in a fast-paced environment, overseeing the flow of work to optimize service and efficiency
- Utilize analytical skills to work with spreadsheets and provide high-level analysis
- Coordinate pick wave releases and advise managers on resource allocation to achieve smooth operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the installation scheduling team, distribution team, and transport delivery partners
- Maintain accurate training records and coordinate re-training as needed to ensure team safety and effectiveness
- Conduct regular stock checks and customer order quality checks to ensure high-quality and accuracy
- Perform periodic analysis of product storage positions and coordinate subsequent movements to optimize product layout
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to adopt new technology
- Flexibility to work and lead shifts allocated between 06:00 – 22:00 any day of the week
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous warehouse or transport scheduling experience is an advantage
